Weekly Update!

Happy Friday! After a crazy week, I am ready for my 3 day weekend. I am currently reading a book club pick, Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal. I am really really enjoying it. I was hesitant to start it (read 3 books this month already trying to avoid this one) because I didn’t know if I’d enjoy it but I'm glad I picked it up. It has spice, the communication between characters has made me giggle, there’s a sort of mystery as well and I’m learning about a new culture. Win, win, win, win!

I am also listening to The Perfect Father: The True Story of Chris Watts, His All-American Family, and a Shocking Murder by John Glatt. I am reading this because it was recommend to me by a Bookstagrammer for the 12 Challenge. (12 months to read 12 books recommended by 12 friends)

I pre-ordered Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover and I am going to read that next. I am so excited! I can say that Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors. I love her writing and her stories that break your heart and put it back together.

Book Club Reads

  • UVAs Get Lit - Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal
  • Books, Boobs & Booze - It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover (this will be a re-read for me but I am still really excited)

I also decided that the summer challenge I was going to post will be a seasonal challenge starting with spring! I'll be posting that late April! Yay!

Let me know if you read any of these books and how you liked them!
