Always by Sophie Lark

Synopsis:
Your first love is with you always…

Two gorgeous billionaire bachelors have come to New York City, and Anika Knight has an unfortunate connection to both of them…

Marco Moretti is the Italian playboy trying to take over her family’s business. But he’s planning another kind of hostile takeover – of Anika herself.

James Dawson just sold the biggest tech company in Silicon Valley. He’s come to the city for a fresh start. But also to rub his success in the face of the woman who rejected him eight years earlier: Anika Knight.

Will Marco manage to steal Anika’s heart along with her business?

Or will James fall in love with her all over again, despite his best efforts to the contrary?

“Always” is a Second Chance Romance, inspired by Jane Austen’s “Persuasion”. It will break your heart and put it back together again with a HEA that will leave you cheering. This is a stand-alone novel, the first in the Classic Billionaires series.

This is my first book by Sophie Lark but definitely won't be my last. This book was a very easy read with just the right amount of steam. I even cried a bit. Loved it. Can't wait to read the prequel.

Thank you to the publisher, author and BookSirens for the free ARC. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

With the flexibility to skip months and customize each box, BOTM makes it easy to discover new reads, especially popular fiction and thrillers. BOTM Prediction - April 2022

Hey bookworms! We have had a rough couple of weeks in our household, my youngest daughter started with a stomach bug then it went to my oldest daughter then to my husband then to me, which is why I am sharing my predictions later than usual. Last month 3 of my predictions were picks (yay) and I was so excited. I chose 2, The Paris Apartment and The Book of Cold Cases . Did anyone else choose these?   It's always fun putting a list together and seeing all the upcoming releases. I'm adding a max of 3 books for each genre again. Remember these are just predictions. Might be a BOTM pick, might not . Enjoy! Historical Fiction The Good Left Undone by Adriana Trigiani Matelda, the Cabrelli family's matriarch, has always been brusque and opinionated. Now, as she faces the end of her life, she is determined to share a long-held secret with her family about her own mother's great love story: with her childhood friend, Silvio, and with dashing Scottish sea captain John Lawrie Mc...
