Very good book. Like a lot of people mentioned, Julia is not a likable person but that to me does not take away from the book. I cried a couple times and laughed a few more. I loved how a few things reminded me of when I was younger and was sent to Mexico for the summer. Julia's mom has been through so much, and she is obviously very over protective which is understandable. This is a very relate-able book. Must read!
